Keyword advertising service, FindWhat.com has released its financial information for the 1st quarter of 2004, which ended on March 31st. The company had a 56% increase from last year's earning and is currently $2.7 million dollars ahead of its projected 1st quarter earnings.

According to SearchEngineJournal.com, this marks the 18th consecutive quarter that FindWhat has increased its revenue from the previous quarter. Two key acquisitions made by FindWhat helped in the revenue increase. The first was Miva, a supplier of e-commerce software.

The second, more eye-opening, acquisition was FindWhat buying the rights to CometSystems. CometSystems is the creator of the controversial CometCursor, a notorious systems hijacker/spyware software.
